EXO Will Release a Christmas Song Entitled “December, 2014″ as a Gift to Fans

EXO-L's have something to rejoice about with popular boy group EXO releasing a Christmas song entitled “December, 2014” which will first be heard through the game application “Super Star SM Town.” Despite reports of the group’s comeback early next year, it came as a surprise gift that they will be releasing a Christmas single before the year ends.

Unlike the ballad “Miracles in December” which was released during holiday season last year, the song will be a pop-ballad and was prepared meticulously by the EXO members as a thank you to the fans who have supported them all throughout.

The first teaser for “December, 2014″ will be released today at noon through SM Town’s official Youtube account. The full song will be revealed in “Super Star SM Town” on December 19.

Also, at noon on the 15th the teaser for this new song will be released through the SMTOWN Youtube channel which is sure to increase the interest in EXO’s upcoming song.

Male group EXO‘s Suho and Baekhyun have left their positions as the hosts of SBS’ weekly music show “Inkigayo.”

After hosting the show for 10 months, the two MCs bid farewell to the viewers on December 14. As previously revealed, they decided to leave the show in order to focus on EXO’s upcoming comeback.

Suho revealed his thoughts about leaving the show after announcing this week’s winner. He said, “Through ‘Inkigayo,’ I have met good people, learnt a lot, and made lots of meaningful memories, so I feel great. I will always strive to become a hard-working and polite Suho. Thank you.”

Baekhyun thanked the viewers, “The previous year has been a fun experience, and I believe all of this is thanks to our fans. I will become a hard-working Baekhyun. Thank you.”

Emotional and teary, the EXO members went on to close the show for the last time with their fellow MCs Kim Yoo Jung and ZE:A‘s Kwanghee.

EXO awarded two awards at China's '8th Miguhui Awards'

EXO won 2 awards at China's '8th Miguhui Awards'!

The boys were at China's Shenzhen on the 13th to attend the '8th Miguhui Awards'. They received the 'Asia Best Popular Group Award', the biggest award of the night, as well as the 'Best Performance Award' for "Overdose".

EXO said, "We're honored to receive such a great award. We thank everyone who works hard for us, and we thank and love EXO-L. We're going to become an EXO who give back to everyone's love through our music and performance."

EXO’s Xiumin and Kai Are Made Honorary Members of the Korean Football Association

EXO stars Xiumin and Kai have become honorary members of the Korean Football Association (KFA), the governing body of soccer in Korea.

The stars joined the head coach of the men’s national soccer team, Uli Stielike, and the president of the KFA,Chung Mong Gyu, at an event to mark the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the KFA and SM Entertainment that may see Xiumin and Kai become involved in promotional campaigns for the organization. The event was held at the KFA’s headquarters in downtown Seoul on December 11.

Xiumin and Kai also took the opportunity to snap some self-taken photographs, which were later uploaded to the EXO-M and EXO-K Facebook pages.

Kai and Xiumin attend signing event with Korean Football Association as representatives of SM Entertainment

On December 11, SM Entertainment signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korean Football Association. To commemorate the signing, the guest list included big names such SM CEO Kim Young Min, the President of the KFA Jung Mong Kyu, head coach of Korea's national soccer team Uli Stielike, and EXO's Kai and Xiumin.

This particular MOU was signed to diversify Korean soccer and the Hallyu wave through the exchange between sports and the entertainment industry. With the MOU, the two organizations are to anticipate various collaborative projects that should benefit both parties.

At the signing ceremony, SM's CEO Kim Young Min stated, "In order to create a big event in Korea, such as the Super Bowl, that people all over the world can watch, we join Korean soccer and entertainment and will try our best to create content that can grab the attention of the people even beyond Asia."

Meanwhile, to commemorate the signing of the MOU, CEO Kim Young Min, EXO's Kai, and Xiumin were handed national soccer team uniforms. In addition, Kai, Xiumin, and soccer fan SHINee's Minho, were also presented honorary employee IDs.
