High possibility of EXO comeback with “Overdose” next week

EXO may finally be coming back next week with their long awaited “Overdose”.

Many fans had been waiting for EXO’s comeback with “Overdose” on the 21st of April, however due to the sudden tragedy of the Sewol ferry capsizing with 476 passengers on board, most of them high school students, their comeback had to be delayed for a long time as the situation got worse and death tolls increased.

This posed a problem for EXO as their first official concert was due to open on the 24th and 25th of May, and thus it would be ideal for the group to release their album prior to their first individual concert.

A staff member of SM Entertainment announced that they are hoping to comeback some time next week, especially as many other idol groups have confirmed their comeback dates.

However EXO’s comeback for next week cannot be guaranteed as of yet, as music programs have not yet confirmed whether they will be broadcasting again, as for the past 2 weeks, music programs on all 3 mainstream TV channels SBS, MBC and KBS have been postponed.

Although there are high chances that the music programs will return by next week, as mentioned, they are not confirmed, and thus many groups are still anxiously awaiting for the news.
