[STARCAST] EXO 'Growl in middle summer night' 1mm off camera angle

EXO, the undisputed idol star of these days, celebrated 500th day since their debut. It feels like they debuted yesterday, but this year already marks the second year since their debut in April 2012 on MAMA. During the period, EXO has rapidly grown up as a Korean Wave idol. Overseas music markets of China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan are showing great interest to the boy band.

What drove EXO was their fans for the past 500 days. Fans waited for EXO for ten months since the ‘MAMA’ promotion. As a token of appreciation, EXO prepared an event to interact with fans by hosting 'EXO STARCAST ON AIR Growl in the Middle of Summer Night' aired at 8:00 pm on August 21 in collaboration with the portal site 'Naver'.

The first live show hosted by EXO ignited passionate responses from fans. The Naver building in Bundang, Gyeonggi Province, saw the largest number of people in history. The area was crowded with about 200 fans who were given a chance to attend the live broadcast.

The K-pop wave surges to a new crest with a mega concert at Gardens by the Bay on Nov 16.

The line-up of 13 acts for the 2013 MBC Korean Music Wave concert comprises SHINee, EXO, 2PM, 2AM, F.T. Island, B1A4, TeenTop, B.A.P, Kara, Sistar, Miss A, IU and 4Minute, with "mystery superstars" set to be emcees for the night.

This was announced at a press conference in Seoul on Tuesday at JW Marriott.

Each act at Music Wave will perform two to three songs.
