He is timid and shy, but also a boy with a bright smile. He lives in a corner of Seoul, with his mother, who sells soup at the market, and his alcoholic father.

He is a passionate fan of Jung Jaeyeol, a man who overcame his fiery past and became a novelist, and wants to become just like him. As a result, he constantly writes letters to him, and makes many phone calls. Since he is timid, he usually only says ‘hello’, and is content even when turned away by a replier, who always informs him Jung Jaeyeol is busy.

He wishes for his novel to become a bestseller, in order to give his mother happiness. But there seems to be no hope for his novel. He even begged the relunctant Jung Jaeyeol to take a look at it, but was told it was unpromising. He was just too timid. Well then, is the solution writing something more explicit?

He starts writing about Jung Jaeyeol, and develops hatred for him. And, he even recieves a few punches for it. He can endure all that. However, Jung Jaeyeol does not accept his phonecalls anymore.

That day, his insides are burning up, and his father drinks too much alcohol, once again, threatening to light the house on fire. He calls Jung Jaeyeol once again, this time for help…”
