Lee Soo Man’s Son Revealed to be the Lyricist for EXO and SNSD

It has been revealed that SM Entertainment chairman Lee Soo Man’s 19 year-old son has penned both EXO and Girls’ Generation songs.

With the release of EXO’s first album, XOXO, fans were surprised to find the name of Lee Soo Man’s son, Lee Hyun Kyu, written in the new album. Lee Hyun Kyu penned the lyrics to EXO’s Let Out the Beast.

It’s also been revealed that Lee Hyun Kyu previously wrote the lyrics to SNSD’s hit song, Hoot as well. But music affiliates said that he penned the songs due to good opportunities to participate in the albums and that he is not active as a lyricist.

Meanwhile, Lee Hyun Kyu is currently enrolled in the prestigious Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles.
