EXO Decorates Several Music Charts with ‘XOXO’

Bringing a new surprise with each day that passes, EXO released its first official album which immediately began ranking high on music charts.

At noon (KST) of June 3, EXO’s first album, XOXO (Kiss and Hug) was released worldwide through various music websites.

Within a few hours, EXO’s main track, Wolf, ranked number one on the real time charts of Soribada, Bugs, Olleh Music, Naver Music, and Daum Music, while ranking second on Mnet and fourth on Melon.

читать дальшеDuring the first hour of the album release, on some music sites, EXO decorated the entire ranking chart from one to ten with its songs. The rankings have since then changed, but still, the other tracks in the XOXO album can be seen sprinkled throughout the chart, proving that the entire album is a hot commodity.

EXO began its comeback activities on May 30 on Mnet’s M COUNTDOWN, making its rounds through broadcast station, each time bringing a larger crowd of fans with it.


EXO met up with over 2000 fans in a fanmeeting following its comeback on SBS Inkigayo on June 2.

EXO also appeared as guests on KBS 2FM’s Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio on May 30 and managed to bring down the servers.

“EXO’s ‘Inkigayo’ Comeback Fanmeeting Draws in over 2000 Female Fans … Proven Popular”

EXO, on the 2nd of June, performed a comeback stage at SBS ‘Inkigayo’ with the song ‘늑대와 미녀(Wolf)’. After the performance, EXO came out to greet 2000 fans.

In the morning of EXO’s pre-recording, over 500 fans came and lined up to see them perform, but only a few managed to get in. EXO wanted to return the fan’s support and express their gratitude by holding a surprise fanmeeting later that day.

EXO commenced their comeback promotions with Mnet ‘M-countdown’, on May 30th, and on the 31th, they performed their second comeback stage at KBS 2TV ‘Musicbank’. That was followed by their comeback stage at MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’, on June 1st. All the the performances above drew a huge amount of fans. They didn’t stop there. Their radio attendance at KBS 2FM ‘Sukira’ attracted over 30000 text messages, surpassing various seniors who appeared on the show, and further proving their popularity.

EXO’s first album, XOXO “Kiss&Hugs”, was release at twelve o’clock, today, and has already topped various digital and physical sales charts on the Hentao Charts real-time sales chart.
