"Do Kyungsoo often expressed his disbelief in his ‘too good to be true’ luck. Working with a renowned scriptwriter, director and revered actors, being called ‘a rising star of Chungmuro1' was also a situation he found 'too good to be true'. With luck and skill right from the begining, we cannot guess where promising talent will lead. And he's a member of 'sky peircingly popular' idol group EXO too! Not as singer 'D.O' but by his given name, Do Kyungsoo met first audiences through the drama 'It's Okay, It's Love' as Jaeyeol's (Jo In-Sung's) split personality 'Kangwoo'. Though idols acting is not uncommon, he has the ability to retaining the attention of those uninterested in idols. During an entertainment program2, the MCs praises his acting while commenting, ‘has SM changes their acting teacher?’, when in fact he has never attended acting classes at the company. In the movie ‘Cart’ (November 13th release) he also portrays the role of Taeyong, a part time working boy in his teens, evoking empathy with his irregular problems. He worked through his busy idol schedule and talked with deep voice with a tidy face and intense glare. The fan’s screams gave the convenience store owner some trouble while filming, he said with smile. Like a main character from a story book, who is gaining new experiences and learning, we think we can see why the renowned scriptwriter and director chose Do Kyungsoo as their ‘drawing paper’.

Kim Hee Won Became Afraid After Finding Out D.O was an EXO Member
Acting as an unfair and cruel boss in the movie Cart, actor Kim Hee Won stated that he became afraid after learning that D.O was an EXO member.
On November 19, Kim Hee Won appeared as a guest on SBS Power FM′s Kim Chang Ryul′s Old School, where he talked about his latest movie Cart.
During the radio program, DJ Kim Chang Ryul asked if a lot of EXO fans complained about Kim Hee Won′s treatment of D.O in the movie.
"A lot of people around me were worried about me. When we were filming, I didn′t know he was an EXO member," said Kim Hee Won. "I realized just how amazing EXO was after I filmed the movie. I was a bit scared. I really didn′t know that he was a famous singer."
Having appeared in both Cart and tvN′s Misaeng, Kim Hee Won talked about how it was to work with D.O and ZE:A′s Im Si Wan, who are both rising as exceptional actors.
"Im Si Wan tries his best not to get nervous and does things rather comfortably. For D.O, he′s someone who becomes very sincere when he acts. Their styles are very different."
"D.O is sincere. He wants to keep on learning. If Im Si Wan is chic, then D.O is the nation′s little sister. He′s prettier than a girl, and more handsome than a young noble."
Cart premiered on November 13.

What Caused EXO’s Chen to Stop Singing in the Middle of His “Best Luck” Performance?
EXO’s Chen recently sang a live performance of his “It’s Okay, That’s Love” OST ballad titled “Best Luck” for the audience in attendance at the ‘2014 Daejeon Drama Festival APAN Drama Star Awards.’
However, Chen was forced to stop singing in the middle of his performance and start over from the beginning. It is said that the reason for this was due to a mistake made in playing the AR (all recorded) track instead of the MR (music recorded) track.
A few lines into the song, following the first verse, the EXO member realized that both the music and voice recorded track was being played when it should have just been the music recording used as a back track for his live singing. After recognizing the accidental mistake, Chen stopped singing to explain the situation and offered an apology to the audience before starting over the song from the beginning.
Meanwhile, his fellow group member, D.O, took home the Best New Actor award at this awards ceremony for his role in “It’s Okay, That’s Love.”
